An Excellent Choice
NORFOLK — As a longtime active member of the Norfolk community and as a part of a generation that helped shape this community, I recognize that the time has come for us to hand the baton off to the next generation of community-minded leaders.

We need younger people engaged in the decision-making process and in key leadership positions for our community. They offer fresh and new ideas on what is possible for Norfolk and its future.

On Nov. 4, Norfolk residents will be given an opportunity to elect a new mayor to lead our city into the future.

I have known Tom Schommer for a number of years and believe Tom would be an excellent choice for mayor of Norfolk. Tom is an energetic, civic-minded person who has demonstrated his leadership abilities in several community organizations. Tom understands the time commitment it takes to be a public servant and is willing and very capable to serve our community.

I would encourage you to join me in supporting Tom Schommer for mayor in the upcoming election.
