NORFOLK — Before you decide who you will vote for to be the next mayor of Norfolk, I would like to encourage you to go to Tom Schommer’s Web site at www.TomSchommer.com.

Consider his rise from a humble beginning as a meatpacking employee to a developer of a family business that has become an industry leader.

Consider his commitment to service as evidenced by his involvement on various boards as well as to his political party.

As a member of the Norfolk Planning Commission, I appreciate Tom’s vision to bring industry to Norfolk, as well as his desire and ability to assist existing businesses to expand their businesses.

Doing so will cause our existing local economy to continue to grow.

Tom’s past successful track record, his current involvement in community service and his plan for the future of Norfolk is proof enough to me that Tom deserves your consideration for our next mayor of Norfolk.
