All About Norfolk
NORFOLK — I have known Tom Schommer for the last 15 years in business and in friendship and have come to appreciate Tom. He is and always will be about the Norfolk community.

I have watched Tom invest considerable time and energy working with the youth at the “Teens Encounter Christ” weekend retreats. With having my own kids all go through that weekend, I know it takes a serious commitment on the part of all who make those incredible weekends come together. I appreciate Tom’s heart for the youth of Norfolk. I also know Tom’s dedication and love for his own kids. I appreciate the heart he has for being an excellent father. Norfolk needs a mayor who is concerned about our future leaders and who also cares deeply about family and values.

I have also observed Tom give time to the community by being involved in numerous community organizations. Those commitments have helped make him well-rounded in being very familiar with the needs of Norfolk and grounding him in formulating his ideas of what Norfolk needs to move forward. I appreciate the time, effort and heart he has put into our city and I believe he has taken those responsibilities very seriously. I have also been involved with Tom in business over the years and I have always found him to work hard to meet my needs. Tom follows through on what he says he will do.

Norfolk needs a mayor who is one of us and who cares about our future. I have no question that Tom cares about the future of Norfolk and is willing to do all he can to bring solid growth and progress to our town. It is with those things in mind that I encourage you to get out and vote, and to give your support for mayor to Tom Schommer.
