Results of a Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce survey of its members indicate 82 percent of those surveyed support the concept of a shared office facility in Norfolk.

The Web-based survey was sent to 800 chamber members with 210 responding.

Survey results indicated 54 percent would prefer chamber offices remain downtown, and 60 percent said they felt the current chamber office ranked poorly in most measures, such as office space and available parking.

Of those responding, 79 percent said current city offices were inadequate and 76 percent opposed moving the city offices out of downtown.

The survey is open to the public at www.norfolk.ne.us.
