More than a Slogan
NORFOLK — Here is why I think you should vote for Tom Schommer for mayor on Nov. 4.

Tom has proven by his actions that he has the credentials to make an excellent mayor for Norfolk.

Tom has offered more than a slogan to our community. Tom has offered a detailed plan that goes beyond “bringing people together.” What really matters to me is what happens after we are together. Unless we are able to produce measurable results at the end, all we have really done is brought people together and accomplished nothing.

I support the candidate who has shown us a clear plan to get the city of Norfolk back on track and supports economic development as well as quality of life issues. Tom has done that.

As a longtime member of this community I have watched our community go through various stages of development in our city’s history. I want a mayor who is willing to take an occasional calculated risk for the sake of prosperity for the city of Norfolk.

This election is crunch time for the citizens of Norfolk. Ask yourself if you are willing to settle for maintaining the status quo, or would you like to see positive changes for our city? I have appreciated Tom Schommer’s approach to challenging the status quo.
